There was a time in my life when I avoided mirrors. I would rush past them in stores, at home, really anywhere they existed, because I didn't want to see what the mirror would reveal.  The mere suggestion of what might be staring back at me was overwhelming to my soul and I refused to face the truth. The truth that I had spent years ignoring ME. The truth that I had subjected ME to choices that only served to increase the growing holes in my soul.  What I had become was a version of myself that I no longer recognized and my internal workings were malfunctioning because of consistent disregard and neglect for my wellbeing.

This is my story of self-reflection. This is my truth after I found the courage to face the mirror.
